The University\u2019s Esports Production concentration, under CCIM\u2019s Department of Media, delivers hands-on instruction for students to develop their skills in the field of esports media. Students in the program learn the history of esports, video production, streaming, and live event broadcasting.<\/p>\n<h5>Award amount<\/h5>\n<p>A $5,000 scholarship<\/p>\n<h5>Criteria<\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li>It is preferred that recipients are available to attend community events to promote the e-racing series and the partnership with Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing<\/li>\n<li>Must apply and be accepted as a full-time student to one of Ball State\u2019s undergraduate programs<\/li>\n<li>Must have competitive experience in any sim or tradition racing league<\/li>\n<li>Completion of a minimum of 3 invitational tryout practices with current Ball State team\n<ul>\n<li>Each tryout session will be a maximum of 2.5 hours<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>May not have been banned, fined, or otherwise removed from competition by league organizers or game developers in the past<\/li>\n<li>Renewable for 4 years provided the recipient continues to meet the stated criteria<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h5>How to apply<\/h5>\n<p>Please contact\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.bsu.edu\/academics\/collegesanddepartments\/media\/about-us\/faculty-staff\/marinodan\">Dan Marino<\/a>\u00a0to express your interest. Review of applications will begin on March 15<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0and continue until awarded.[\/vc_column_text]\t<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><div class=\"edgtf-accordion-holder edgtf-ac-default  edgtf-accordion edgtf-ac-boxed  clearfix\">\n\t<h5 class=\"edgtf-accordion-title\">\n\t<span class=\"edgtf-tab-title\">Esports Scholarships<\/span>\n    <span class=\"edgtf-accordion-mark\">\n\t\t<span class=\"edgtf_icon_plus icon_plus\"><\/span>\n\t<\/span>\n<\/h5>\n<div class=\"edgtf-accordion-content\">\n\t<div class=\"edgtf-accordion-content-inner\">\n\t\t[vc_column_text]This scholarship is to support out-of-state Ball State Esports athletes.<\/p>\n<h5>Award amount<\/h5>\n<p>$12,500 renewable for up to 4 years<\/p>\n<h5>Criteria<\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li>Out of state applicant (not an Indiana resident)<\/li>\n<li>Must apply and be accepted as a full-time student to one of Ball State\u2019s undergraduate programs<\/li>\n<li>Must have competitive experience in one of the following esports titles played at the varsity level*.
